PEDCO LOOKING TO ADD A BUSINESS LOAN PROGRAM
PEDCO is seeking grant funding to start up a business loan program. Loan funds would be available to businesses at a low interest rate and could be used for start-up costs, operating capital, equipment purchase, etc. PEDCO hopes to have the loan fund available by mid-to-late summer.
However, in order to do this, many grant funders require the grant application to include letters of commitment from business owners.
PEDCO is asking Native American business owners who either own a business - or Native Americans who would like to start up a new small business - to submit a letter of commitment to us for an upcoming application. The application deadline is February 28th, so letters are needed as soon as possible, and no later than February 10th.
Example letters of commitment can be accessed below, or they can be requested by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Another benefit for Native American business owners is that PEDCO now has a business directory on its new website. Business owners interested in having their business listing on the website should submit: name of their business, type of business, business address and phone number, contact person for their business, business contact email address, and website (if applicable).
If you would like to be added to our mailing list to receive notifications about the loan program please email Judi Meyer, email@example.com.
