The Ponca Economic Development Corporation proudly announces the upcoming launch of the Ponca Pathways Thrift and Career Center, a new online thrift and consignment store dedicated to creating economic and employment opportunities for members of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska.

We’re inviting our neighbors, partners and friends to join our Community Donation Drive on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 12–4 pm. Come for raffles, giveaways and food at our new donation center located at 1001 Fort Crook Rd, Suite 201, Bellevue, NE, 68005 (easily accessible from the east parking lot of the former Southroads Mall). This event is free and open to the public.

A Feed the Buffalo initiative, the Ponca Pathways Thrift and Career Center will serve as the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska’s nonprofit economic engine, with all proceeds being reinvested into Tribal workforce initiatives, job training, education and certification programs. Historically, the Ponca people utilized every part of the buffalo caught during the semiannual buffalo hunts (known as Wah-ni-sa in the Ponca language). The tribe depended on the bison for food, clothing, shelter, tools, medicine, spiritual, and religious purposes. Nothing went to waste. Thus, “Feed the Buffalo” refers to the commitment of all Tribal entities to locate, pursue and fully utilize every resource available for the betterment of the entire community.

Every donation helps build a stronger future by funding workforce development, sustainability programs and economic growth within the Ponca community—one purchase, one skill, one job, one life at a time.
